Wesley's Birthday

I can't believe my baby turned 5 on August 15th. Wesley thought that it was so great that soccer season started on his birthday. His team this year is called the Zebra's. His best friends Will and Ryan are on his team again this year. Wesley scored 3 goals in his first game.
    Wesley decided he wanted a pool party this year. It was a beautiful day. Wesley and his friends had a good time swimming. Wesley is swimming so well. Both him and Maria are like little fishes.
     Wesley is doing so well in school. He really enjoys going every day. His favorite thing so far is PE. Wesley loves anything that involves sports. I'm impressed how much he has learned in 9 weeks. Wesley has memorized about 20 sight words and is reading short books. Wesley loves competition. Both Maria and Wesley have an online reading program they use for school Every book they read they get points and then can use those points to build a robot. Everyday Wesley tried to read as many books as possible because he wants to beat his sister and get more points.
      The kid's have been off school for the last 3 weeks. School starts back on Tuesday. We didn't go on any vacations on this track out but we did some day trips. We went to a water park one week. Yesterday we went to the zoo. We have gone to parties, had sleep overs, and many more things. We really enjoyed the last couple of weeks of summer. I'm looking forward to fall and a little bit cooler weather. Hope you all are doing well.
