Thanksgiving/Breakfast with Santa

Us adults had a good time playing games after the kid's went to bed. There may or may not have been alcohol involved. :)

No thanksgiving would be complete without making turkey hats.

Wesley and Papa

I found these Thanksgiving sheets at Target and we all had to draw a turkey using our hand prints and write down what we were thankful for. It was lot's of fun and everyone enjoyed it.

This picture is my siblings, Hannah in red, Sarah in green and my parents and brother Ben in white.

I'm way behind on posting. I'm not sure where the last 2 months have gone. I will start with Thanksgiving. For Thanksgiving we went to Nags Head with my family. It was a good time but very cold and very windy. The kid's really liked Jocky Ridge. That is the sand dunes. Maria and Wesley were rolling down the dunes and making sand angles. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of that because my camera was broken. I did get a new one for Christmas. :) We also visited the Wright Brothers Memorial where they flew the first plane. It was nice being altogether for Thanksgiving because my family was all out of town for Christmas. We had a photographer take our pictures on the beach. It was so cold that we were done in record time. Wesley was not happy so he is not smiling in any of the pictures.
The kid's preschool every year has a fund raiser where you can have breakfast with Santa. Maria had no problem going on Santa's lap and telling him what she wanted. Wesley wanted nothing to do with Santa but at the very end he did sit on Santa's lap but I still don't think he was very sure about it. I didn't post them but I have a picture of Wesley with the girls in his class. He wanted me to take a picture with each of them and he has his arm wrapped around their shoulder. The girls love him! At one point they were in a big pile. One of the parents was a dj and the kid's had lot's of fun dancing around. That's it for my Thanksgiving post. :)
