Christmas Day!

Just a few pictures from Christmas morning. It was a really nice Christmas day. Sebastian and I were awakened around 7:45am to the sound of very happy children as they discovered the presents under the tree. Maria's favorite present is her doll house. Wesley's favorite present is his golf clubs. We have to take the golf clubs back and trade them in for left handed golf clubs. We found out that Wesley's natural swing is left handed. I had to work Christmas evening from 3-11 so they kid's and Sebastian went to my in-laws for dinner. Apparently my children love to eat duck. Maria had 3 helpings and Wesley also ate quite a bit. This will be my last post of 2013. We have been so blessed this year! God has truly blessed our family! I pray that you all have a wonderful, healthy, blessed, happy 2014!!!!!

Christmas Eve

My kid's did not want to take anymore pictures.

We had such a nice Christmas Eve hanging out all together. There were lot's of screams of happiness from the kid's as they opened their presents. A tradition that I started 3 year's ago was getting the kid's matching PJ's. The problem is finding Wesley something to match the girl's. I got them all Monster's University PJ's and they all looked so cute! I really enjoy our time together as a family.

December

The pictures above show a little of why we have been so busy. On December 15th we had my family Christmas. My parents went to Florida and Alabama for Christmas. My sister Hannah was in Michigan. Sarah was in Morehead. My brother was in town but was hanging out with his girlfriends family. Wesley favorite gift was the puzzles he received. He loves doing puzzles. He can do 48 piece puzzle all by himself. In the morning he likes to wake up, go downstairs, put together a few puzzles then come get me out of bed saying he has a surprise to show me. Maria's favorite gift was her real tea set. She has already spent a couple of hours playing tea party.
The kid's had their Christmas performance at their preschool. Maria and Wesley's class sang Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. I'm not sure if it was singing as much as yelling the words very loudly. I was impressed how well both Maria and Wesley had memorized the song. They have both been singing it around the house.
The Saturday before Christmas we had a nice weather surprise and it was 74 degree's outside. We went and visiting Pullen Park. Both kid's enjoy the park because they have the train and the carousel. It was so nice being able to spend the day outside because it has been so cold. Maria is all about climbing. Makes me nervous sometimes. :)
The last 2 pictures our from parent's day in Maria's dance class. We were able to observe what she does in her tap/ballet class. She is getting better. She is the tallest in the class. She really does enjoy dance and is always dancing around our house.
I have many more pictures of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but that post will have to wait until another day.
