Beach

We spent the week at the beach last week with my in-laws. We went to North Topsail. The weather was perfect. The sky was Carolina blue every day. There was a nice breeze but not too windy. The kid's enjoyed spending time at the beach or pool. At first they were a little apprehensive about the water but once Wesley tested it out Maria followed. In the pool Maria was tall enough to walk around in the shallow end on her own. She was also putting her face in the water. She was so proud of herself. Wesley loves water. He just jumps in over and over again. One day we went to the aquarium in Wilmington. I think I enjoyed it more than the kid's did. It was dark and they both don't do real well when it is dark in a place. I rented a bike and enjoyed riding on the beach. It was easy going with the wind but it was a work out going against the wind. I took so many pictures I've made it into a video.
The kid's are doing really good. I can't believe Wesley is going to be 2 in a month. He is all boy. He loves playing with cars. Anytime we go to the store and he see's a car he thinks he needs it. He loves playing basketball with his daddy. He will be going to preschool in August. Maria just finished up preschool for the summer. She had so much fun in preschool this year and is looking foward to going to her new class in August. Maria is doing really well learning to write her letters. I don't think it will be too much longer and she will be reading. We have lot's of playdates scheduled for July. I'm looking foward to having both my kid's home this month so we can do lot's of playing. Enjoy the pictures.
