I can't believe my little girl is already 18 months. Of course she acts like she is already 2 years old. I'm amazed how much her vocabulary grows everyday. My sister calls her a parrot because she will repeat pretty much anything you say. I didn't think I would already be spelling out words. Her new favorite phrase is "daddy mess" as she attempts to wipe off his face. This past weekend Sebastian and I went to Asheville to celebrate our anniversary. Maria stayed with my parents. It didn't take long for Maria to wrap herself around my dad's finger because he went out and bought her a kitchen set. She loves it. Apparently Maria has learned from being around her grandma's that drinking coffee in the afternoon is what they do. Maria took her coffee pot to my mom and said, "nanny coffee?" We didn't even know she knew how to say coffee. Another thing she learned was from my dad. Maria pulled up my shirt and stared blowing on my belly making funny noises. My dad always did that to me growing up. Maria is just so much fun!
