Maria graduates!

I can't believe that Maria graduated from preschool today! She has spent that last 3 years at her preschool and we are both going to miss seeing her friends and teachers. I know that she is excited to be starting her next chapter in kindergarten. Maria went to kindergarten orientation last week. She was so happy to be there and really loved it! Every day when we drive by she say's "hello school!"
Our new houe is just about a 1/2 mile away from the school so we plan on walking most days. We have moved into our new houes. We are all really enjoying it. The kid's love the fenced in back yard and being able to play on the play ground set. I enjoy the big windows where I can be in the kitchen and still be able to see them. I think that over half the day's this week we have eaten breakfast outside on the deck. We have also been to the neighborhood pool a couple of times this week. I will see if I can add a couple of video's of each child's performance. Wesley's class did a song from Frozen. they were so cute to watch! Maria was also in her dance recital last week. She did a great job being on such a big stage and in front of so many people. I'm going to see if I can figure out how to get a video off my phone.

We close on our house next week June 11th! Our move in date is June 14th. That's going to be a busy day because we move in the morning and Maria has her dance recital that afternoon. We do have a busy next few weeks. Maria graduates from preschool on June 19th and her first day of kindergarten July 7th. She is going to a year round school. I've been busy packing but we have been able to have a little fun in between. Sorry this is short but I need to go to bed and I will post after we move. :)

Park

One of our local parks has been having some work done to it so we have not been able to play there. Ever since the kid's found out that we could not play there they have been asking non-stop to go there. Well it finally opened! The pictures are from the kid's enjoying the new playground equipment. This past Saturday we put an offer on a house and it was accepted! We are going to be closing June 11th. We are so excited! The back yard is big and has a nice wooden playground set that will be staying. My favorite part of the house is the kitchen. It has this huge window that look's into the back yard. The yard is fenced so I can let the kid's out to play while I'm in the kitchen and I will be able to watch them the whole time. God's hand has been in this whole process. I had started to get discourage while we were looking for a house but then God sent us to this house and everything has been falling into motion without any difficulty. Maria is now registered for kindergarten. The nice thing is that the school is less than a half a mile from our house and is a very easy walk. There is also a church that is at the end of our street that has soccer and basketball teams. We have registered Wesley for Fall soccer and we will be able to walk to that also! The neighborhood has a pool and a playground which the children are also so happy that we will finally have a pool to be able to go to. I will update with pictures wants our stuff is moved in. :)

Easter

We had a nice Easter. My family came over to our house. We had a very non-traditional meal...hamburgers and hotdogs. The kid's enjoyed finding the eggs. We now have enough candy to last us until Halloween. Maria and I do have matching dresses. Maria wanted us to match and was so happy that we did. Hope you all had a nice Easter.

Sorry it's been awhile

I know it's been a little while since I've posted anything. Since the end of January the kid's and Sebastian have all been sick on and off. We also have had several winter weather day's where the roads have been icy and have spent lot's of time at home. I've not taken many pictures due to that. Today was a nice day before we expect more winter weather next week. We are all ready for spring! We had dinner over at Barbara and David's tonight and got to enjoy the warm weather. Hopefully with nicer weather there will be more post and pictures. I also started a new job in March. I'm working for the same hospital but am working in the outpatient cancer center. I am loving it and it is a nice change of pace from working in the hospital for the last 10 years. Hopefully it won't be a month and a half before I post again.
