Wedding

My baby brother got married yesterday. Maria was the flower girl and Wesley the ring bearer. The wedding was so much fun! On Friday night at the rehearsal dinner the kids danced the night away. At the wedding, Wesley was a little bit shy about dancing but Maria spent most of the night dancing again. I'm very happy to have a new sister and the kids a new aunt.

Vacation!

In April, Sebastian and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary. We decided to celebrate to take a vacation out West. We started our trip flying to Palm Springs, California. We stayed at a resort for a couple of days. The pools and spa were awesome. It was hot but very nice! From there we rented a car and drove to Las Vegas. That was an interesting drive. There is absolutely nothing! Just lots of flat dirt! It was my first time in Vegas. I played the quarter slot machines and was happy to win $100. Next we drove to Utah. We stopped at a place called Valley of Fire. Beautiful red rocks. We saw some wild rams and road runners. Lake Mead was close by and we had to see the lake in the middle of the desert. In Utah we went to Mount Zion national park. It is one of the prettiest parks that I've been too. It was rainy but we were able to take a hike. It was muddy but awesome views! From there we drove to Colorado. The leaves were turning golden yellow! The drive was asking the Colorado River which was so beautiful! The trip ended in Denver. We stayed downtown. That was nice because we could walk everywhere. We had done really good German and Mexican food! We missed the kids but they were in great hands with different family members. I'm looking forward to taking the kids to that part of the county one day.
