Busy Week

 

 

WE have had a busy but very fun week! On Tuesday we went with the kid's preschool to a pumpkin farm. Then today we went trick or treating. Both events were lot's of fun but have worn be out. I've been having petty bad back pain. I went to the doctor yesterday and got a readjustment of my spine. It is feeling a little better but I think it's going to take a few more days to get back to normal. Maria's class dressed up on Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday she was Minnie Mouse. Today she was Rapunzel. Wesley was Spider Man. He did not want to wear the mask. It was a little too much for him. It was so cute seeing all the kid's in the preschool dressed up. Tonight we went trick or treating in Dorian's neighborhood. It started with a Halloween parade of all the kid's in the costumes. Then we got WAY too much candy. The kid's love being with their cousin's so much. I'm glad that we live so close to all their cousins. Enjoy the pictures. :)

NC State Fair

I'm so happy that Fall is here! Last weekend our family went to the Green Acres Corn Maze Farm. We did not end up getting to do the maze because it started raining but we had lot's of fun before that. The kid's got to do the bounce houses, ride a pony, ride a mini train and go on a hayride. On Friday we went to the farmer's market. The kid's enjoyed picking out their favorite vegetables Maria loves peppers and radishes. Wesley picked out cucumber and zucchini. They also both picked little pumpkins that they painted when we got home. Then this weekend we went to the State Fair. My babies are growing up and were able to ride the rides all by themselves. Wesley said his favorite ride was the carousel. Maria's favorite thing was the trampoline. Wesley also really enjoyed the cows. He sat for 15 minutes as different people brought out their cows for display. My favorite thing was watching them on the little roller coaster. At first their faces were panic but then they realized how much fun it was and they both had big smiles on their faces and were screaming in delight. It was a really fun time and I just love spending time as a family.
