Color Run
My sister and I did a color run with a couple of our friends. It was really fun! You run a 5K while people on the side lines throw powdered paint on you. I was very happy that it was a cloudy day because there were at least 1,000 people there and we were all very close while we were waiting to start the race.

End of year school program
Today my kid's had their end of year program at preschool. The year has gone by so fast. Both kid's did well in their program. You could see Wesley's mouth moving but he didn't look to sure about standing on stage with all the parents and grandparents staring at him. Of course Maria had no problem being on stage and singing her song. In August when they go back to preschool, Wesley will continue just going two day's a week. He will be in the 3 year old class. Maria will be in the pre-k class and will be going 4 day's a week. That will be a change for me!
We have started swim lessons. Both kid's are doing really really well! Wesley thinks he can swim and loves to just jump in over and over again. Maria is just right there with her swimming. I'm pretty sure she will be swimming at the end of the summer.
We are going to be going to the beach for a week in about a week and a half. The whole family is looking forward to getting away and spending lot's of time in the sun. I'll post again after our trip.

Rest in Peace Dean
This week was a sad week. Sebastian's grandfather Dean went to be with the Lord. We are sad but rejoice in the fact that he was a godly man and that we will celebrate again with him one day with our new bodies in heaven. Dean welcomed me into the family and I felt like one of his grandchildren. I enjoyed sending him cards with pictures. He loved our children very much. We visited with him at Christmas and he looked so good. We had a really good time and am grateful for that time we were able to spend with him. Sebastian is down with his family this weekend in Florida for the funeral. Please pray for Sebastian's family for safe travels and that God will comfort them in this time.

Putt-Putt Golfing
Today Sebastian and I took the kid's to go putt-putt golfing for their first time. At first they were not sure what to do but quickly got the hang of it. Sebastian and I really had a good time watching the kid's try and get the ball in the hole. Maria got pretty good at the end. She even got a couple of holes in only 2 putts. After golfing we let them play some arcade games. They were both walking around with their eyes wide open. I don't think they have seen so many games in one area before. Maria and Wesley both enjoyed playing the games and even won enough tickets to get some candy.
The kid's only have 3 weeks left of preschool. I'm feeling bitter sweet about it because when Maria goes back in the Fall she will be in the pre-k class and will be going 4 day's a week. I can't believe I will only have her for one more year before she goes to kindergarten. I have already shed some tears. I have a fun summer planned. We start swim lessons next week. Maria will be in her own class but Wesley's class is still a mommy and me class. Then Maria has princess dance camp in July for a week and Vacation Bible School for a week. Wesley is not quite old enough for me to sign him up for camps yet. He has to be 3 which will be happening very soon. Maria and I will also be taking a reading class at NC State. It's to help her learn how to read and give me the skills to help teach her. I'm excited about that. We will also be going to the beach for a week for a little vacation. I think this summer is going to be going by really fast. I still don't have a computer but am able to borrow Sebastian's laptop from work every once in awhile. I will hopefully be able to get one soon so that I can't start posting regularly again.
