The other day Wesley wanted me to take his picture. He would run over and look at the picture than go back and pose again. It was too cute!

Wesley's Birthday Party

Here are a few pictures from Wesley's birthday party today. It was so much fun! Of course it was Car's theme because that is his favorite thing right now. It was priceless when he ran up to his party and saw all the balloons and decorations. It was suppose to rain but the rain stayed away and it turned out to be a beautiful day. Wesley was blessed to have both set's of grandparents and great grandparents! Thank you for all our friends and family that came today to celebrate our son.

Birthday party fun!

Our friends Mikah, Raine and Gavin had their birthday party this past weekend. We actually went on a train ride. It's this place in Bonsal, NC. I had never heard of it before but it is called New Hope Valley Railway. You ride on a train for about 20mins through the woods and then turn around and come back. The kid's had a great time. We got a little warm because of course it is still hot here in NC. After the train ride we went back to our friend's house and cooled off on the water slide. The kid's had such a great time and had no problem going to bed when we got home.

1st day of preschool

Today was a big day for me. Both of my babies are now in preschool. Maria of course is a pro by now and was very excited! Wesley was excited to wear his car's backpack but I wasen't sure how he was going to do when I left. I took him into his classroom and he sat down with a box of cars and I asked him if he wanted to give me a hug goodbye. He didn't even look up from the car's and just waved goodbye. He is getting to be too big!!! :( I spent my time running errands. It didn't take as long at the grocery store as normal. I think I will get used to this very quickly. I did share a few tears. I am happy that my children do so well with others and are independent. But they are my babies and they are growing up too fast! This weekend we are having Wesley's birthday party. I have lot's of fun Car's decorations planned and his cake is actually going to have a car on top of it. I will be posting pictures of that. Here are a couple of pictures from this morning.
