Rest in Peace Dear Christa

Christa I will always remember your smile. From the first time I met you at an Octoberfest party which happened to be on my birthday you made me laugh. You kept trying to get me to take a shot with you which I finally did. We had so much fun that evening and I was glad I took that shot with you. That was you, Christa, FUN! Everytime you came to visit and we had a family dinner together we were always laughing and sometimes crying we were laughing so hard. One of those times and I don't even remember how we got talking about flower girls but Giesela was also in town. You three sisters were talking about walking down the isle on your knees being flower girls. I'll never forget the excitment on your face when you got to meet my children for the first time and held them. We will not let them forget you. There will be many stories over the years told by your family to my children. We will miss you and always love you!

Philippians 3:20-21 But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

Random Photos

We have had a busy year so far. It started off with my losing my camera. That made me very sad but at least I had already down loaded the Christmas pictures. My sister Hannah has been gracious to let me use her camera since she just uses her iphone for picture taking. Maria goes to preschool on Tuesday's and Thursday's. Then on Wednesday we usually go to the library for storytime in the morning and then we have swim lessons in the afternoon. Wesley is a natural in the water and loves every minute of it! Maria is adjusting to not being afraid. Then on Friday's are usually playdates. We have memberships to 2 local museums and having been enjoying spending time at them. Tonight Maria and Sebastian went to a Father/Daughter dance. That is all Maria has been talking about all week! She looked so beautful and grown-up. I wish she would stop growing so fast. Maria and I have been doing a little bit of school work each morning. We have a bible story, work from a prescool book learning different things and then we learn about a President. I have learned lot's of new (or more like re-learned) interesting facts. We are up to our 9th President and Maria can say them all my memory. Wesley is growing up fast also. He is ALL BOY!!! I can't keep him from climbing on things. He hads already had his first busted lip. He also got his first buzz cut. He dosen't look like my baby anymore but a toddler. Wesley is learnig to throw tantrums when he dosen't get his way. Thanks to his older sister we are already working on attitude problems with him. Most of the time the kid's are so good and we have so much fun! Wesley is very independent and loves to eat. He wants to feed himeself and has already mastered the spoon and is getting good with a fork. Of course it is a messy and he loves to feed the dog and the floor when he is finished. His buzz cut is good because usually his bowl or plate ends up in his hair and now I can just wipe it off. I'm loving this stage of life so much! My children are a blessing in my life! I'm so grateful that I can spend so much time with them.
