Our daughter is growing up so fast! I can't believe she is almost 3. She is looking so grown up with her new hair cut.

The end of summer
We have been busy the last couple of months. The kid's and I went to Florida with my parents to visit my mom's family. It was a really long car trip but the kid's did really great! My cousin has a daughter named Reece that is a year older than Maria. They had so much fun playing together. The two of them were peas in a pod and spent most of their time in the pool. Wesley also loves the water. I started swim lessons with him a couple of weeks ago. The instructor said he is a natural. He is already going under water for 8 seconds. Wesley has also started walking. He still favors crawling but he can walk when he wants to. He also enjoys getting into anything he can. His favorite thing is to pull things out of cabnets, get into the garbage and climb on top of a chair or table. If he can't do it he has found his voice and he let's you know his frustration by screaming. He also loves to dance. Anytime music comes on he starts swinging his arms and bouncing up and down. Maria is still really enjoying preschool. It is amazing how much she has changed lately. She is no longer a baby. She has grown taller and her baby belly is now gone. She recently got a hair cut and now has a cute little bob. It was tough for mommy. I miss her long hair. She is a really good big sister. Maria and Wesley play so well together. I love hearing them giggle at each other. Since they have been sharing a room in the morning when they wake up Maria will read books to Wesley until we get them up. It is just so darn cute! We also celebrated my neice Annalise's First Birthday. Maria loves to spend time with her cousin. Today we went downtown to the Bug Fest. I forgot my camera but took a picture of Maria when we got home. She got a butterly painted on her face. It was so funny watching her get her face painted. She had to keep her eyes closed and her head up. She did great! You could tell she wanted to open her eye's but she kept them closed. Maria was in her element at bug fest. She bounced in a bounce house, put on butterfly wings and danced around, colored, made a spider and just ran around. I stayed away from the bugs. I'm not too found of spider and roaches. Hope everyone who reads this is doing well and hope to see you soon!
